Rocky Mount Regional Luncheon

We are excited to announce that the first NCEDA Regional Luncheon - a new initiative for the 2018-19 program year - has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 23. Originally scheduled for September 12, the luncheon was postponed due to Hurricane Florence's impending arrival.

If your schedule did not allow you to register for the initial luncheon date, we hope that you are able to join us at the rescheduled time! Rocky Mount Mills is an exciting example of the re-purposing and renewal of an historic North Carolina industrial space into a 21st century destination for companies, jobs, visitors and new residents.

Luncheon attendees will hear from an esteemed panel of leaders about the Rocky Mount Mills transformation and its regional impact. Panel members include:

  • John White - Legislative Liaison, NC Department of Commerce (moderator)
  • Dr. Bill Carver - President, Nash Community College
  • Jackie Deloach - Community Engagement Leader, Cummins Inc.
  • Michael Goodmon - Vice President of Real Estate, Capitol Broadcasting Company
  • David Joyner - President, Joyner Media & Strategies Inc.

An optional tour of Rocky Mount Mills will follow the luncheon from 1:30 - 2 pm.
