Rules of Engagement:
Maximizing Your Government Relations
Economic development takes place at the busy intersection of business and government. From tax issues and regulatory climate to infrastructure support and incentives, our work ultimately exists in the context of public policy. That means politics, and skillfully navigating the corridors of power in Raleigh and Washington DC - advocating on behalf of communities, clients and projects. Join current and former legislators, lobbyists and economic development leaders for this timely seminar on government relations for NCEDA emerging executives.
The agenda is being finalized, but we look forward to hearing from these remarkable speakers:
- Adrienne Cole - President & CEO, Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce
- The Honorable Mike McIntyre - Partner, Poyner & Spruill / Former Congressman, US House of Representatives
- The Honorable Jason Saine - Representative, NC House of Representative
- John White - Director of Legislative Affairs, NC Department of Commerce
