All conference functions will be held at the Beaufort Hotel with the exception of some of the optional activities. All optional activities have a separate registration fee and are detailed further down under 'Pricing".

The Beaufort and Atlantic Beach areas also have great short-term rental options through VRBO and Airbnb. The historic Beaufort area also offers some beautiful bed and breakfasts. A shuttle service will be provided from each overflow hotel (Beaufort Inn, Hampton Inn Atlantic Beach and Inn at Pine Knoll Shores) to and from the Beaufort Hotel for all main conference functions (does not include optional activities).

Our base hotel, the Beaufort Hotel, is a brand new boutique hotel 2 1/2 miles from downtown Beaufort overlooking Taylor's Creek. We will have several water-based optional activities, and we will also have a water taxi shuttle going back and forth between the hotel dock and the beach at Carrot Island all afternoon on June 12. If you would like to visit the beach at other times, you can take one of the regularly scheduled water taxis the depart from downtown Beaufort, or you can drive over to Atlantic Beach, just 15 minutes away. As the conference dates approach, we will provide more details about transportation, activities you can plan on your own and recommended restaurants in Beaufort.

Sunrise Yoga on the Lawn: $15 (6 - 7 am; bring your own mat)
Beach Field Trip: No Cost (NCEDA will have a private water taxi shuttling conference attendees to and from the Carrot Island Beach from 1 - 5 pm - the water taxi will pick up at the hotel dock)
Downtown Beaufort Culinary Tour & Wine Tasting: $75 (1:15 - 4:30 pm; this will include a progressive lunch stopping at several restaurants for different courses)
Stand-Up Paddle Board Lesson: $55 (2 - 4 pm; all equipment provided)
Cornhole Tournament: $25 (2 - 4 pm; proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen - this will be played on the hotel lawn overlooking Taylor's Creek)
Thursday, June 13 Activities:
Professional Development Luncheon & Workshop: $50 (12:30 - 3 pm; includes lunch)
Registrations submitted by Friday, May 31 are eligible for the early bird registration rate, a $100 savings. NCEDA member and non-member rates increase $100 if submitted after Friday, May 31.
NCEDA CANCELLATION POLICYRefunds can be made (minus a $25 processing fee), if cancellations are received by Friday, May 31 at 5 pm. For cancellations please call 888.246.2332 or email liz@nceda.org. No refunds will be granted after May 31.
